I’m so late with this post that I’m sure you are all like what the heck is she doing? Easter was so last week. I KNOW. But with the roll out of the new look, I’m just a tad behind. Throw me a bone and pretend like I’m somewhat timely with this and you still care. K. Thanks! Love ya’!
Anyway, we Easter’d on the most beautiful farm last weekend and I just couldn’t miss sharing it with you guys. We were lucky enough to get tickets to a local farm that hosts a pretty spectacular Easter event. Madelyn has been talking about it since, and when we went to the zoo this week, she was thoroughly disappointed that there would be no feeding and petting this time around. The farm really did spoil her!
Beyond that, It was just so fun to get to watch her experience the holiday outdoors, with all the gifts a spring holiday brings. Seeing her pet bunnies under cherry blossom trees was so surreal to me. Just like on Christmas, it struck me that Easter is so much more spectacular as a parent then it ever has been before. Something about the joy on her face fills me up to the brim. I could do a million Christmases and Easters this way.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday as well (and I promise to pull out of this time warp next week)!
There are about a million photos of the day below and I could have included at least 100 more…..
